Unfortunately, these days many young people wind up making poor
choices, setting them down a path that can lead to incarceration, poverty and
other consequences. Despite the best efforts of parents, guardians and
teachers, many kids today make bad decisions that can potentially haunt them
for the rest of their lives. Although parents may not have succeeded in keeping
their kids on the straight and narrow, they can still help their children
straighten out their lives and make better futures for themselves.
Although residential treatment centers (RTCs) have existed for
years, the residential treatment center model has come back into vogue, and
many such facilities help parents change their children’s attitudes and
behaviors. Places like Integrity House Utah have helped dozens of young women
from across the state and beyond disavow their detrimental behaviors and
attitudes, and become productive members of society.
Integrity House reviews young women from across the state that have
made all kinds of poor choices, and works with them to correct their behavior
and give them a chance for future success. With a structured schedule that
includes academics, chores, therapy and counseling, girls at Integrity House
RTC learn to behave, follow the rules and break their patterns of negative
behavior.
The team at this facility includes young women who have turned
their lives around thanks to the Integrity House approach. These ladies use
their own experiences to relate with the troubled girls who come to Integrity
House. These mentors serve as role models for the young women who enroll at the
facility.
